AAP NEC 2011 was a huge success! The attendance by Pediatric Physicians, Pediatric Surgeons, Pediatric Specialty Care and Primary Care Physicians, and Advanced Practice Pediatric Providers topped last year with over 8,000 attendees.

Newly elected AAP President, Robert Block, MD provided further
validation of the positive impact of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners in the Practice during a conversation with Melnic President, Jill Gilliland. Dr. Block pointed out the significant importance of forming a closer relationship between AAP and NAPNAP in the near future.
