Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care - Peoria, AZ
We have an exciting part-time or full-time position for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join this dedicated team that provides compassionate, comprehensive pediatric medical care (sick, preventive and well) for patients from birth through eighteen years of age, working with parents to help raise happy healthy children and treating each child as if they were their own. The Nurse Practitioner in this role performs physicals, makes diagnoses and recommends treatment or appropriate referrals in addition to ordering diagnostic and laboratory tests and recommending pharmacological agents and treatments. They are a member of the team that specializes in diagnosis and treatment of a variety of respiratory disorders in children. Advanced practice provider responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing physical exams and formulating impressions and recommendations for patient care in collaboration with the attending physician.
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Philadelphia, PAIf you are an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, there is a wonderful opportunity for you to join the team that provides state-of-the-art comprehensive care for their tiny newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of this leading children’s hospital in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. Using your special training in neonatal nursing, you will be responsible for the critical evaluation of newborns in the unit. Providing clinical management under the direction of the attending neonatologist, the NNP in the NICU will be responsible for assessment, development and implementation of plans (writing orders and performing procedures), evaluation and documentation. Additional roles include providing education and support to patient families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on plans of care and providing staff education and clinical consultation to the interdisciplinary team.
Director, Pediatric Emergency Services - Southwest Region of U.S.
The nurse leader who is a visionary with experience advocating for an environment that promotes high patient care standards is a strong candidate for the position of Director of Emergency Services at this leading children’s hospital. The Director in this role is responsible for managing patient care, and oversees nursing/staff practice, manages personnel and overall staff development in this fast-paced Level II Trauma Center. They have management authority, accountability and responsibility within the Emergency Department, including monitoring financial performance. They demonstrate sound clinical judgment in emergency medicine, and they promote teamwork, professionalism and appropriate decision-making based on evidence-based practice. The Director in this role is a highly experienced, progressive nursing leader with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. This is a full-time position that reports to the Vice President of Nursing Services.
Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Seattle, WAThis is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at this leading children’s academic hospital. The CNS in the PICU is an expert in clinical nursing, experienced in the care of critically ill or injured children with complex conditions. The CNS is responsible for promoting, improving and managing health care in this 31 bed Unit where patients up to age 21 are treated. Providing clinical expertise in the PICU, they assess health needs of patients and evaluate nursing interventions that will achieve optimal outcomes. The CNS is a nurse leader who collaborates with other management to develop policies and procedures and manages their implementation and communication.
