The PNP in Stem Cell Transplant is a member of the team that offers stem cell transplantation and bone marrow transplant for children with a variety of malignant and non-malignant disorders, using their state-of-the-art therapies and treatments. They have performed more than 250 transplants since the program began, and they have recently expended the unit to twelve beds. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Stem Cell Transplant is a specialized health care provider who is responsible for the care and management of patients in the Stem Cell Transplant setting, managing the entire patient course in collaboration with the attending physician. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, independent decision-making, collaborative management of health and illness problems, leadership and the ability to critically analyze and translate findings into practice.

We currently have some new opportunities in a hospital located in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S. for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who are experienced Hospitalists in the area of Orthopedics. The NP or PA Hospitalist will manage an adult patient’s care from admission to discharge, working to ensure the success of the patient’s treatment plan, noting progress and recommending therapeutic interventions when necessary. The NP/PA Hospitalist in Orthopedics will be first (1st) assist in surgery and do rounding, post-ops, emergency and second call. This is a full-time, days position, Monday-Friday.

PNP, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Plano (Dallas), TX
Join this leading academic center children's hospital as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The Advanced Practice Provider in the PICU of this leading children’s hospital will work with the PICU team in the care and management of patients from newborn to adolescents, aged 0-18, providing a full range of services. They will provide comprehensive care to critically ill and injured children including diagnosis and treatment of complex life threatening conditions and performing emergent and invasive procedures. Specific responsibilities of the PNP/PA in the PICU include performing admission histories and physicals, creating plans of care and collaborating with the attending physician during the entire patient course. They will use their pediatric nursing skills and experience to assess and interpret the data and information needed to identify each patient’s care requirements and provide that family-centered care for their patients.
