The RN in Pre-Op/PACU and IR Sedation cares for a range of patients from neonates through young adults with a variety of conditions.  Responsibilities include assessing, evaluating and developing nursing plans, providing patient and family education, overseeing patient flow, providing clinical direction to other team members, and participating in bedside clinical research studies.  The RN in this role must be knowledgeable in pre-op assessment and preparation and post-anesthesia care, including safe emergence from anesthesia, and the position requires experience in airway recovery and deep sedation management.  This is a full time position for an RN with experience in pediatric Pre-Op/PACU and IR Sedation nursing that includes ongoing opportunities for training, continuing education and professional development.

If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in providing nursing care for pediatric surgical patients during their preoperative and postoperative periods, consider joining the team at this new state of the art children’s hospital that opened in late 2012, located in the southeastern United States.  The RN in Pre-Op and PACU cares for a range of patients from neonates through early adults with a variety of conditions.  Knowledgeable and experienced in pre-op assessment, preparation and post anesthesia care, the RN in this role provides care that meets the unique needs of patients and their families.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Hershey, PA
Using their extensive education, training and experience, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners provide specialized care for critically ill infants and newborns.  Consider joining the NICU team at this leading academic children’s hospital, working collaboratively and independently, to provide critical care and treatment for these infants in their 36 bed, fully equipped, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in this role manages care of newborns in the unit, providing assessment, development and implementation of plans of care in addition to evaluation and documentation.  The NNP provides education and support to patient families and provides staff education and clinical consultation to the interdisciplinary team.  The experience, education and clinical judgment of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner strengthen their ability to accomplish treatment goals and improve patient outcomes.

Pediatric Clinical Practice Manager, CICU - Northwest Region of the U.S.
If you are a nurse leader with management experience, this is a great opportunity for you to consider.  We currently have a position for the Clinical Practice Manager of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in the Heart Center of this leading children’s academic hospital in the Pacific Northwest.  This new state-of-the-art 18+ bed CICU treats infants, children, teens and young adults who have complex congenital defects requiring surgery, cardiology and/or cardiac transplant care.  Specialized care available for these critically ill patients includes ECMO/ECLS, Berlin Heart, VADs, continuous renal replacement therapy, nitric oxide, ventricular assist devices, open chest procedures and temporary pacemakers.  The Clinical Practice Manager of the CICU manages the nursing/clinical care function of the unit to include planning organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing, clinical and departmental activities.  Their role is to ensure delivery of customer-focused services in the CICU with additional responsibility for quality initiatives, regulatory compliance and fiscal accountability.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, PICU - Hershey, PA
Consider joining the Pediatric Intensive Care team at this leading academic children’s hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, using your experience, education and clinical judgment to provide care for critically ill pediatric patients.  The PNP in this role uses their clinical knowledge and skills to support, coordinate and provide expert care for PICU patients and their families.  They evaluate patients in the unit, providing assessment, development and implementation of plans of care in addition to evaluation and documentation.
