The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care provides inpatient and outpatient coverage, working with the primary team and providing consulting services. The Palliative Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role includes pain management, assistance with medical decision-making, and spiritual, psychosocial and emotional support. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of this leading academic children's hospital in the Pacific Northwest, working with babies, children, teens and young adults who are critically ill or injured or are recovering from complex surgeries. Specialized care available for these critically ill children includes a nationally recognized Extracorporeal Life Support Program (ECMO/ECLS) for children who require life-sustaining heart and lung support.
