NNP or PA, NICU - Waterbury, CT
This is a great opportunity for an experienced NNP or PA to join the NICU at a suburban location of this leading children’s hospital medical center to provide comprehensive patient care for premature or critically ill newborns during the neonatal period.  The NNP or PA in this Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a member of the team that is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for newborns and their families.  The NNP or PA will evaluate, diagnose, treat and consult for newborns with severe and complex conditions.  This is a full time position with twelve hour shifts and day/night rotation.  New grads will be considered on an individual basis

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Lansing, MI
This is a great opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of this leading academic children's hospital in the Midwestern U.S. The advanced practitioner in this role cares for premature newborn and critically ill babies in the Level III NICU that is known for its outstanding patient care. Responsibilities include assessment, evaluation, plans of care and treatment for NICU patients. The NNP or PA performs specialized diagnostic, therapeutic and other procedures and does newborn nursery and pre-natal family consultations. This nurse leader will also manage education for the NICU nursing staff and participate in research.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Cincinnati, OH
We are currently searching for a medical surgical Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the NICU team at this leading academic children's hospital.  Their 59 bed, Level IV, NICU is one of the largest and most advanced intensive care units in the nation, soon to be a 69 bed unit that will include 30 private beds.  It provides the specialized, state-of-the-art medical care required by critically ill newborns and premature infants with complex medical/surgical care needs, some of whom may be recovering from highly complex surgery.  The NNP uses their special training and experience to deliver specialized, family-centered direct patient care to these newborn infants.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Pittsburgh, PA 
This is a great opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join one of the top ten academic children's hospitals in the U.S. in their Neonatology Services Department.  This NNP will work in a Level IV NICU at this leading children's hospital.   The NNP in this state-of-the-art 31 bed NICU performs high level diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, initiates emergency evaluation and treatment, makes appropriate referrals for consultations, coordinates discharge planning, participates in ground/air Neonatal transports and provides staff education in addition to patient and family education and support.   This is a full-time, rotating shift position with an additional financial incentive for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner willing to cover at two locations based on census.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Pittsburgh, PA 
If you are a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with experience working in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, consider joining this leading women's hospital in their Neonatology ICU.  This NNP will work in a Level III NICU providing primary health care and emergency services to high-risk newborns and infants including obtaining histories, performing physical exams and interpreting lab, radiographic and clinical data for developing plans of care under physician supervision.  This is a full-time rotating shift position with an additional financial incentive for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner willing to cover at two locations based on census.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Trenton, Michigan
The NNP in this role is responsible for the direct patient care of newborns and premature infants with complex critical care needs.  Responsibilities of the NNP include assessment, plans of care, evaluation, documentation and family education and support.   Reporting to the doctor on call, the NNP attends deliveries, cares for babies in the newborn nursery and arranges transfers of babies with complex care needs to the higher level critical care NICU as needed.   Their multidisciplinary team is committed to providing exceptional patient care for infants and their families.  This is a full-time position with 24 hour rotating shifts at a medical facility that is ranked as one of the top twenty hospitals in the metropolitan area. It recently completed a $64 million renovation to its hospital including the only Level II Trauma Center in the community.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Hershey, PA
Using their extensive education, training and experience, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners provide specialized care for critically ill infants and newborns.  Consider joining the NICU team at this leading academic children’s hospital, working collaboratively and independently, to provide critical care and treatment for these infants in their 36 bed, fully equipped, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in this role manages care of newborns in the unit, providing assessment, development and implementation of plans of care in addition to evaluation and documentation.  The NNP provides education and support to patient families and provides staff education and clinical consultation to the interdisciplinary team.  The experience, education and clinical judgment of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner strengthen their ability to accomplish treatment goals and improve patient outcomes.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Memphis, TN
If you are a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, we have a great opportunity for you to join the Neonatal Intensive Care team at this leading academic children’s hospital in the southeastern U.S.  The NNP in this role is responsible for the delivery of direct patient care to critically ill newborns and premature infants with complex care needs in this 60 bed Level IV NICU.  Using their special training and experience, the board certified nurse practitioner in this role assesses NICU patients through clinical assessment, evaluation and tests.  They develop plans of care, recommend treatment therapies including ECMO and therapeutic hypothermia, and prescribe medications appropriate for the patient.  They participate in daily rounds and manage the transfer of patients to/from other units or hospitals.  Most of the NICU patients were born at other hospitals.  The NNP is also an educational resource for families and other healthcare professionals.

Director, Neonatal DNP Program - Memphis, TN
One of the leading Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs in the U.S. has an opportunity for a full-time Director and Faculty member in their specialty Neonatal DNP track. The successful candidate for this specialty position has a doctoral degree from an accredited university and is a substantive neonatal nursing expert, with active clinical experience and documented successful experience in clinical teaching. As Director, they will be responsible for managing and coordinating teaching, learning and research in the department. Teaching responsibilities include didactic course work, clinical practice assignment and clinical supervision of students as well as curriculum development and mentoring.  This DNP program was one of the first in the U.S. and has been accredited since 2009, offering several graduate level tracks from master's degrees to doctorate level programs that focus on preparation for the highest level of nursing practice.
