Join Melnic Consulting Group, this February 6th -8th, where attendees can customize their learning experience and choose from 40 breakout sessions, case discussions, interactive workshops and simulation based training opportunities at Texas Children’s Hospital and Pavilion for Women. 100 highly educated and experienced presenters, consisting of specialized MDs, PNPs, PA, and more, will present on timely pediatric topics such as, what to expect from the affordable care act, sports injuries, childhood obesity, transplants, cancer care, and much more!
The mission of the Texas Children's Hospital Advanced Practice Provider Conference (TCHAPP) is to empower advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) and physician assistants (PAs) through state of the art education, training, innovation, collaboration and professional development. The conference curriculum is diverse and allows attendees to tailor their learning experience to their own unique practice needs.
APRNs and PAs in primary and specialty care settings, registered nurses and students pursuing careers in advanced practice are encouraged to attend.
The objectives of the TCHAPP conference are:
1. Explore evidence based and innovative approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of various pediatric, neonatal and surgical conditions.
2. Discuss national and state level advanced practice provider (APP) legislation and what it means for APP clinical practice.
3. Identify the latest trends in palliative care and transitional medicine.
