Pediatric Nurse Manager, Urgent Care - Seattle, WA
Consider this great opportunity for an urgent care management role at this leading academic children’s hospital in the Pacific Northwest!  The Manager of Urgent Care is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of multi-specialty ambulatory care services for pediatric patients with minor illnesses and injuries at the main hospital and three Urgent Care Clinics.  In collaboration with the Director, the Manager of Urgent Care is responsible for the day-to-day clinical functions of the clinic locations to include meeting continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial and delivery of safe, efficient and cost-effective care.  Direct reports for this position include Family Service Representatives, Admin. Assistants, Medical Assistants, Audiology Assistant, Audiologist, Clinic Admin. Supervisor and RNs.

Pediatric Family Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care - Klamath Falls, OR
This is a great opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care to join this pediatric practice that provides excellent primary and acute health care to patients ranging from newborns to adolescents in the beautiful northwest area of the U.S.  This practice has a large special needs population, mostly attended to by the physicians, while the Nurse Practitioner performs physicals, makes diagnoses and recommends treatment or appropriate referrals in addition to ordering diagnostic and laboratory tests and recommending pharmacological agents and treatments.  The practice is seeking applicants with Emergency or Urgent Care background for treating patients that require suturing, blood draws, etc.  The FNP in this primary care practice will normally see 15-20 patients per day, occasionally more on the busiest days during the winter months.  They are currently transitioning to an EMR system that will improve workflow and reduce paperwork, enhancing the care they provide their patients.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Cardiac Care Unit - Houston, TX
The Heart Center of this leading academic children’s hospital has an opportunity for an acute care certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the team in their cardiac care unit providing comprehensive care and monitoring for high risk cardiac infants, children and adolescents who are recovering from serious illness, cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac catheterization procedures.  Responsibilities of the PNP in the Cardiac Care Unit include physical assessment, diagnosis, plans of care, ordering treatments, therapies and procedures and making referrals when indicated.  The advanced practice provider in this role is an educational resource for patients and families regarding progress.  This is a dual position with the PNP also providing coverage for the Cardiac Step Down Unit caring for patients who are seriously ill but require less than intensive care.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist - Dallas, TX
If you are an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with an interest in working with children in an inpatient neurological services setting, consider this Hospitalist position at a leading academic children’s hospital in the Southwestern U.S.  In this role, the Advanced Practice Provider administers quality patient care for pediatric patients including assessment of the patient’s condition through obtaining histories, performing physicals, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests and treatments, and formulating plans of care with the attending physician.  The PNP Hospitalist gives direction to nursing and other staff, collaborates with neuroscience physicians and consults on neurology cases.  The Hospitalist educates patients and/or families regarding diagnosis, ongoing care and prescribed medical treatments and medications.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - Kansas City, MO
This leading children's hospital has a great opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in their Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit caring for newborns, children and young adults with congenital or acquired heart disease.  This advanced practice provider is a clinical leader, educator, researcher and consultant working in collaboration with physicians of various subspecialties to ensure the best possible care for patients in the CVICU.  Some of their responsibilities include comprehensive health histories, physical assessments and examinations, plans of care and treatment, prescribing and performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures, and participating in patient and family education.  Additionally, they demonstrate professional leadership, actively participating in quality/outcomes improvement activities, clinical research and organizational development.
