This leading academic children’s hospital in the eastern United States has a great opportunity for an acute care certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in their Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This recently created specialized team is solely devoted to caring for infants from around the world who need surgical intervention. As the PNP or NNP in the Surgical NICU, you will be a member of the team that provides seamless care to infants with birth defects such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, lung lesion, omphalocele and gastroschisis as well as fetal surgery patients. You will be involved in patient care, education, program development, consultation and research with exposure to a high volume of complex surgical neonates and fetal surgery patients in this large Level III NICU.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Emergency - Dallas, TX

This is a great opportunity to join a leading academic children's hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner their Emergency Department.  The Advanced Practice Provider in this role provides care and management of acutely ill or injured patients ranging in age from 0-18 who are seeking immediate medical attention.  Responsibilities of the PNP in Emergency include obtaining patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and developing treatment plans.   In this Level I Trauma Center, the Provider will manage the entire ED course in collaboration with the attending, and initiate referrals and follow-up consults to other providers.
