The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children’s Center at Johns Hopkins
Opening early 2012, the new Johns Hopkins Hospital includes state of the art technology, 1.6 million-square-foot hospital features two connected 12-story towers, one for the children’s hospital.
The children’s hospital will house 205 beds including:
• 120 pediatric acute care rooms
• 85 pediatric intensive care rooms
• Pediatric Level 1 trauma service
• Pediatric burn services
• Indoor play area
• Modernized emergency departments
• Modernized diagnostic imaging and radiology facilities
• 10 pediatric operating rooms
