Washington, DC Children's National Medical Center Sickle Cell

Children's National Medical Center
Washington,DC
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Sickle Cell

Children’s National Medical Center in the District of Columbia has an exciting opening in their Sickle Cell Care Unit. At the forefront of Sickle Cell Disease care in the United States, Children’s national is one of the few pediatric care centers in the country using stem cell treatment as a treatment for the disease. As they currently treat over 1,200 individual patients every year with sickle cell disease, this is an incredible opportunity in a compassionate care unit to help provide assistance to those with this tragic illness. Children’s National is one of the leading medical institutions in the United States, with national and international renown for quality of care, treating case-specific issues, and providing the best in diagnostic information to combat each condition they encounter. Since they are on the leading edge of research as well in the field of pediatrics, patients of Children’s National can be assured that they are receiving the most dynamic and well thought out treatment plans. Potential candidates should have experience working in team-oriented clinical environments with an understanding of compassionate care working environments and be able to work with relative autonomy while practicing as part of a cohesive team unit.
