Lake City, Florida

Lake City is one of the best kept secrets in Northern Florida, located conveniently midway between Tallahassee and Jacksonville. It is approximately a two hour drive from the both beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. With its rich Seminole heritage, Lake City is known for its annual Alligator Fest, which includes exhibitions of local wild animals and food for all. Lake City also has an abundance of recreational facilities, including three nearby state parks, four local parks, and an amateur theatre. As a community-oriented environment, the residents of Lake City are well known for their friendliness and traditional Southern Hospitality. While there are many different activities to do around the city, many of its residents enjoy sharing meals with family and friends.
