Houston - Texas Children's PICU Pediatric Nurse Practitioners in the PICU Immediately

Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Needed in Houston - PICU

I have been contacted by Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for immediate help with finding PNPs to work in the PICU.

Texas Children's Hospital is a part of a more defined network of health care services known as the Texas Children's Hospital Integrated Delivery System. The system's mission is to support excellence in patient care, education and research with a commitment to quality service and cost-effective care to enhance the health and well-being of children locally, nationally and internationally.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 31-bed critical care unit with patients ranging in age from full-term gestation to adulthood. Common diagnoses seen in the PICU are respiratory distress syndrome, diabetes, seizure disorders, transplants, sepsis, organ failure, and patients that are dependent upon technology including High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

In Texas a critical care certification and training are required. Here is a list of compact states, Texas is one, that recognize licenses in other states, Compact States.
