Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, CVICU - Dallas, TX
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the team of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit of this leading academic children's hospital in the Southwestern United States. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in this CVICU role is a member of the team that cares for severely ill heart patients aged 0-18 in the cardiology specialty setting. They provide critical care for heart patients with congenital or acquired heart disease including admission histories and physicals, plans of care and day to day management (in collaboration with the attending) of CVICU patients.

The acute care-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with nursing skills and experience in pulmonary medicine is a great candidate for the position of PNP in the Pulmonary Clinic of this leading academic children's hospital. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in this role collaborates with attending physicians on the management of pediatric pulmonary patients with chronic respiratory conditions that require complex care, including patients with asthma.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading academic children's hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in their Emergency Department. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in this role provides care and management of acutely ill or injured patients ranging in age from 0-18 who are seeking immediate medical attention. Responsibilities of the PNP in Emergency include obtaining patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and developing treatment plans. In this Level I Trauma Center, the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will manage the entire ED course in collaboration with the attending, and initiate referrals and follow-up consults to other providers.
