Some of the pulmonary disorders for which treatment is provided include cystic fibrosis, asthma, broncho-pulmonary dysplasia, congenital lung abnormalities and other diseases and procedures of the lung including pediatric lung transplant. Components of this PNP role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education and research.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - San Diego, CA
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Neonatal Intensive Care team at this leading academic children's hospital in the Western U.S. The NNP in this Level III 40 bed state-of-the-art NICU is responsible for the delivery of direct patient care to acute, critical, complex, chronically ill and well neonates. Using their special training and experience, the Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for NICU patients and their families. They recommend treatment therapies and prescribe medications appropriate for each patient.
