Spotlight on Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

In Memphis, Tennessee, the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital has been caring for the region’s children since 1952, when a small orphanage became the children’s hospital that today is known for the exceptional pediatric care they provide and “Where Every Child Matters.”  A warm and welcoming environment greets patients and visitors to a place of wonder with colorful, joyful artwork that was created specifically for children by local artists and appears throughout the hospital.  There is even a traveling art cart that gives young patients the opportunity to choose art for their rooms.  Not only is the artwork designed with kids in mind, but everything in the hospital including equipment, toys and playrooms was created to the smallest detail specifically for children and their families.
