Some of their responsibilities include comprehensive health histories, physical assessments and examinations, plans of care and treatment, prescribing and performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures, and participating in patient and family education.
Pediatric Nurse Manager, Emergency Department - Mid-Atlantic Region of the U.S.
This is a great opportunity for a pediatric Nurse Manager with leadership and management experience to assume responsibility for this 75 bed state-of-the-art Emergency Department that treats 90,000 critically ill, injured or sick children every year at this leading academic children’s hospital. The Manager in this role is responsible for the quality of nursing care, the management of nursing personnel and management systems for the as well as the Emergency Department Extended Care Unit. They ensure that excellent clinical nursing care is provided in the ED, supervise patient, family and staff education and support quality improvement initiatives leading to excellent patient outcomes.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Houston, TX
This is a great opportunity for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in caring for children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to join the PICU team at this leading academic children’s hospital. In consultation with and under the direct supervision of the attending physician, the PNP in this PICU assesses, evaluates, plans and implements comprehensive medical or surgical care for children who have been injured, undergone surgery or are undergoing special diagnostic procedures. Additional responsibilities of this advanced practice provider include initiating and changing orders for tests and patient care based on the condition of the patient, and identifying and documenting changes or abnormal findings in the condition of patients using appropriate problem solving skills and experience.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - Houston, TX
If you are a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in caring for Cardiovascular patients in the intensive care setting, consider joining the CVICU team at this leading academic children’s hospital in the Southwestern U.S. In consultation with and under the direct supervision of the attending physician, the PNP in this 21 bed CVICU assesses, evaluates, plans and implements care for children with heart disease, some of whom have undergone heart surgery and others who require mechanical cardiac support or have undergone heart transplantation.
