Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist - Dallas, TX
If you are an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with an interest in working with children in an inpatient neurological services setting, consider this Hospitalist position at a leading academic children’s hospital in Dallas, TX.  In this role, the Advanced Practice Provider administers quality patient care for pediatric patients including assessment of the patient’s condition through obtaining histories, performing physicals, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests and treatments, and formulating plans of care with the attending physician.  The PNP Hospitalist gives direction to nursing and other staff, collaborates with neuroscience physicians and consults on neurology cases.  The Hospitalist educates patients and/or families regarding diagnosis, ongoing care and prescribed medical treatments and medications.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neurology/EMU, Experienced PNP - Houston, TX
If you are a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in caring for pediatric patients in the Neurology setting, consider joining the multidisciplinary team of the Neurology/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit of this leading academic children’s hospital.  Responsibilities of this PNP include but are not limited to obtaining health histories, performing physical examinations, formulating plans of care and treatment, performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures, and participating in patient/family education for patients in the Neurology Unit and the Level IV Epilepsy Center.  In the EMU, the Nurse Practitioner assesses, evaluates and manages care for children who have experienced episodes or seizures and are undergoing EEG monitoring to confirm or eliminate a diagnosis of epilepsy.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Fort Worth, TX
Become a member of the Pediatric Intensive Care team at this leading children’s hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the PICU.  The PNP in this role provides and directs the comprehensive and expert advanced nursing care required for critically ill or injured children who require 24 hour monitoring.  Using your advanced knowledge, experience and expert clinical skills to manage the care of these patients in the PICU, you will report clinically to the Medical Director of the PICU and administratively to the Vice President of Nursing Services.  This is a full-time, flexible, variable 12 and 24 hour shift position for which acute care certification is required.

This is a new opportunity for an experienced Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiac Step Down unit of this leading academic children’s hospital. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Step Down will be a member of the incredible interdisciplinary team that cares for high-risk cardiac patients and their families, treating infants, children and young adults. The Cardiac Step Down Unit provides state-of-the-art care for pediatric patients who are seriously ill but require less than intensive care. They are patients recovering from heart surgery or cardiac catheterization, patients on IV medications following transplant, and patients experiencing arrhythmia or children who are receiving non-surgical treatments for various cardiac conditions.
