About Rush:
 Rush is ranked 5th for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs in U.S. News & World Report
• The Rush University College of Nursing pediatric acute care nurse practitioner program is available to both bachelor's- and master's- prepared nurses wishing to attain a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• The AC PNP program is available in a distance format.
• Students complete clinical rotations in areas such as primary care; PICU; ED; pain service; infectious diseases; radiology; nephrology; endocrinology; oncology; palliative care; and neuro-, pediatric-, and cardiovascular surgery.
• Clinical practicum sites are available at Rush University Medical Center and throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. Distance clinical practicum sites must be negotiated on an individual basis.
• Graduates of the AC PNP program work with patients and families to meet the demands of their disease, illness or injury in a variety of settings that include, but are not limited to, intensive care, emergency care, specialty service, inpatient unit and transport team.
