Advanced Practice Provider, Wound Care - Cincinnati, OH
Join this leading academic children's hospital, located in Cincinnati, OH, that has an exceptional opportunity for a PNP or PA working with patients ranging in age from 0-21 in the Wound Care Unit. The PNP or PA in this role provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients with complex wound care needs. Specific responsibilities of the advanced practice provider include admission histories, physical assessments, diagnoses, plans of care and management of illness.
The PNP or PA in this role is a leader that uses their skills and experience to provide optimal cost-effective care management in the team environment of this expanding unit. They educate and support patients and families, communicating regularly with them regarding progress and promoting self-managed family centered care. Other responsibilities include education, consultation and research in addition to quality improvement initiatives, professional development of peers and colleagues, personal developmental lifelong learning to improve clinical practice skills and competence, and participation in professional organizations and committees.
