Best Children’s Hospitals 2013-14

Congratulations to all children’s hospitals that have attained ranking in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Children’s Hospitals” for 2013-14!  The seventh annual report was released on June 11, citing findings based on extensive surveys sent to children’s hospitals and pediatric specialists across the country.  While all children’s hospitals do amazing work in caring for critically ill children, the report identified ten children’s hospitals for this year’s Honor Roll, led once again by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  CHOP shared the top spot with Boston Children’s Hospital last year, but this year’s findings based on a hospital being ranked at or near the top in three or more of the ten pediatric specialties being surveyed put them in first place alone.  Honor Roll awardees include:

1. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
2. Boston Children’s Hospital
3. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
4. Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston
5. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
6. St. Louis Children’s Hospital
7. Children’s Hospital Colorado, Aurora
8. Tie - Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
9. Tie - Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Baltimore
10. Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

Jill Gilliland, President of Melnic Consulting Group says, "we are proud to work with so many of the top children’s hospitals in the country, and we salute and congratulate them on their success in achieving this prestigious award!"  For more information on the “Best Children’s Hospitals” for 2013-14, click here.
