Pediatric Nurse Manager, PICU - Mid-Atlantic
Bring your leadership, knowledge, skills and compassion to one of this country's premier pediatric health care systems as the Nurse Manager of their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The PICU at this leading children's hospital is a 22-bed unit caring for critically ill children who require advanced specialized treatment, life support and constant monitoring. Interventions performed in the PICU include measures utilizing advanced life technology to treat conditions that may include those producing acute and reversible loss of consciousness, respiratory failure, cardiovascular dysfunction, renal or hepatic failure and other serious injuries or dysfunctions that require critical care. Each patient room is equipped with equipment featuring state-of-the-art technology and monitoring systems.
*Note: BSN, required; Master's Degree in Nursing or related field, preferred; previous leadership experience, required; knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice, knowledge of management theory and change process, required; bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
