Rush University College of Nursing is offering a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) two-course series for the advanced practice nurse (APRN) with the first class scheduled for fall of 2012. This program expands the APRN's skill set and adds value and marketability for current or future practice. Upon completion of the program, advanced practice nurses will have the required educational preparation and documentation to sit for the RNFA certification exam offered by the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).
