Melnic Consulting Group had the pleasure of visiting All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. They have a beautiful new 259 bed/ten story facility in that they built in early 2010 to serve their pediatric patients today and in the future. The new hospital includes a 97 bed Neonatal ICU, the largest in the country, a 28 bed Pediatric ICU, a 22 bed Cardiac Pediatric ICU, a pediatric cancer and blood disorder unit and a trauma and emergency center to serve Florida’s busiest pediatric trauma program.
They have a strong Advanced Practice Structure with a Director of Advanced Practice, Paula Timoney. Our visit coincided with the announcement that All Children’s Hospital will become a member of John’s Hopkins Heath System give All Children’s an additional academic affiliation. More...
