Perennially ranked as one of the top ten children’s hospitals by Child magazine, Children’s Mercy is currently undergoing a $120 million renovation project to further enhance their care delivery capabilities. The department of Neurosurgery has recently had an opening for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience specializing in Neurosurgery to join the already outstanding staff at Children’s Mercy. The unit works on a range of pediatric infirmities including hydrocephalus, spina bifida, and traumatic injuries of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Children’s Mercy is searching for a highly-motivated, well-organized individual to join the staff in this compassionate care unit for pediatric patients.
