Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) PICU

I just spoke with a community hospital who wants me to help them find a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in the PICU. The hospital is located in a city rich in history, culture, arts, and entertainment nestled in the center of North Carolina and the Eastern Seaboard close to the mountains and the coast, you won’t find a more vibrant place to live and work. Generous Southern Hospitality gives this city it’s down home feel and makes it one in which you will want to live! The hospital is supported by a teaching faculty (physicians) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who provide collaborative initiatives for care and education. The Pediatrics department at this Health System consists of a 16 bed inpatient unit and a 4 bed pediatric ICU. The pediatric ICU opened in October of 2003 and has had steady growth in both census and acuity.

Some of the highlights are:
- Collaborative, supportive environment with residents and attending physicians to support excellence in patient care
- Low turnover with a commitment to shared governance
- Great salary, benefits, and working environment

Qualifications are:
masters prepared CNS with experience as a CNS or RN in the PICU
