Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Eating Disorders - Morristown, NJ
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification is a strong candidate for this exciting opportunity to work in the Eating Disorder Program providing various levels of care for children and adolescents with eating disorders that includes partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, psychiatric consultation, evaluation and treatment, and psychiatric medication management.  Utilizing the nursing process, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner collaborates in a multidisciplinary team environment while they assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate plans of care for patients.  They document treatment plans, maintain client records in a timely manner, interact with external providers and programs and provide support and education related to eating disorder patients in group and individual settings.  This is a full-time, five days per week position with varying hours. 

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Trauma - Phoenix, AZ
Join the team of this Level I Pediatric Trauma Center that provides quality care for acutely ill or traumatically injured children as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Trauma at this leading academic children’s hospital.  Offering comprehensive advanced nursing care for the pediatric trauma patient, the Nurse Practitioner uses their physical assessment and diagnostic experience and skills to evaluate, stabilize, treat and care for extremely ill and critically injured children.  The PNP in Trauma conducts comprehensive assessments of patient status, evaluates and documents progress and communicates it to other healthcare members and patient families. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Pulmonary Consultation - Philadelphia, PA
Consider joining the Pulmonary Medicine team at this leading academic children’s hospital as the experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a Pulmonary Consultation role, diagnosing and treating children with a variety of respiratory conditions.  Performing consultations on pediatric pulmonary patients in collaboration with the attending physician, the PNP in Pulmonary Consultation assesses and diagnoses pulmonary and other associated conditions as they obtain comprehensive health histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.  The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in this role prescribes medications, provides education and support for patients and their families regarding medications and treatments, consults with other healthcare providers and supports pediatric pulmonary research.  This is a regular, full-time, days, Monday-Friday position, open to Pediatric Nurse Practitioners with pulmonary trach/vent experience.  

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Pittsburgh, PA
This is a great opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join one of the top ten academic children’s hospitals in the U.S. in their Neonatology Services Department.  This NNP will work in a Level IV NICU at this leading children’s hospital.  The advanced practice provider provides primary health care and emergency services to high-risk newborns and infants including obtaining histories, performing physical exams and interpreting lab, radiographic and clinical data for developing plans of care under physician supervision. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in this state-of-the-art 31 bed NICU performs high level diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, initiates emergency evaluation and treatment, makes appropriate referrals for consultations, coordinates discharge planning, participates in ground/air Neonatal transports and provides staff education in addition to patient and family education and support.  Through continuing education, the NNP maintains their clinical competency and keeps informed of current neonatal nursing trends and developments.  In addition, the NNP participates in nursing and medical committees within the organization.  This is a full-time, rotating shift position with an additional financial incentive for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner willing to cover at two locations based on census.

Pediatric Nurse Manager, CVICU - Northeast Region of the U.S.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatric nurse leader to become the Manager of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at this leading academic children’s hospital.  This Manager will be responsible for the clinical and administrative functions of the CVICU on a 24 hour basis, providing leadership and coordination of patient care, education, performance improvement, research and clinical operations for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The Manager in the CVICU is a leader of the team dedicated to providing safe and efficient patient and family care that meets the needs of infants, children and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart disease, some of whom are recovering from cardiac surgery.  The Manager is responsible for managing staff to include hiring, training, performance evaluation and work delegation/staffing with a focus on outcomes and performance improvement.  They provide orientation for the medical staff in the CVICU and ensure the design, implementation, documentation and evaluation of educational programs for staff.
