A new position just opened up for an Advanced Practice Provider Lead in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit located in the Pacific Northwest Region of the U.S. This academic children's hospital is looking for someone like you to utilize their leadership and management experience to assume clinical and administrative leadership responsibilities in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The Pediatric Nurse Leader in this position has 24 hour accountability for the clinical and administrative activities of the Unit. Their role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered and customer-focused care for infants, children, teens and young adults with complex cardiac defects requiring surgery, cardiology and/or cardiac transplant care. Specialized care available for critically ill pediatric patients in this 16+ bed state-of-the-art unit includes ECMO/ECLS, Berlin Heart, VADs, continuous renal replacement therapy, nitric oxide, ventricular assist devices, open chest procedures and temporary pacemakers.
