Providing comprehensive care and follow-up, the PNP in the CICU creates, initiates and evaluates patient plans of care, including medical and pharmacological management as needed. They are a resource for age-appropriate and effective patient, family and staff education, and they participate in research with the goal of incorporating findings into practice.  The PNP initiates referrals and followup on consults to other care providers.

This is a great opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care to join this pediatric practice that provides excellent primary and acute health care to patients ranging from newborns to adolescents in the beautiful northwest area of the U.S. This practice has a large special needs population, mostly attended to by the physicians, while the Nurse Practitioner performs physicals, makes diagnoses and recommends treatment or appropriate referrals in addition to ordering diagnostic and laboratory tests and recommending pharmacological agents and treatments. We currently have a very exciting opportunity for the position of Pediatric Nurse Manager in the Cardiology outpatient unit at this leading children’s academic hospital in the Northwestern U.S. The Manager in this role is responsible for the overall management of the clinical and site of care operations within the Cardiology Clinic. They oversee clinical nursing care at the off-site clinics to include meeting continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial and care delivery requirements. They work with the Division Chiefs and Director to implement strategic initiatives for the Heart Center and Ambulatory Services. Some travel is required for off-site visits to outlying clinics. This is a regular full-time, days position that offers competitive salary and benefits.

A unique opportunity at this leading academic children’s hospital is awaiting the experienced nurse leader to become their Infection Preventionist Coordinator, working with the team of experts who specialize in the management of infectious disease. The health care professional in this role is responsible for providing a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff by planning, implementing and evaluating infection control programs that reduce risks for infectious disease. They are accountable for regulatory compliance in all clinical areas and off-site locations, and are a liaison to the various departments and services for regulatory compliance and Infection Prevention and Control Programs.
