NAPNAP Conference 2012

NAPNAP 2012 is off to a fabulous start!  We enjoyed seeing familiar faces on the first day of the conference and had the chance to connect with some remarkable new PNPs, Advanced Practice Professors, Children’s Hospitals, and dedicated pediatric nursing professionals.

Educational Session Overview: 
Hot session topics have included ending childhood obesity within a generation presented by Kimberly Avila Edwards, MD, FAAP,  and an  inspiring and motivating presentation from Dr. Judity Palfrey, Executive Director of Michelle Obama's “Lets Move!” on Moving toward a nation of healthy children.  Today’s sessions include Pediatric Prescribing in the Acute Care Setting (Rx) by Renee Bellanger, PharmD, BCNSP, and an informative Pediatric Immunization Update (Rx) by William Atkinson MD, MPH.
